Details
It is the shrine of Gurdwara. This place is very
important from the legend of Guru Nanak legend. This is the shrine of Gurdwara Rohri sahib. Guru Nanak settled on the pebbles here after the destruction of the city. It is the important place for Sikh. The vaisaki festival is also celebrated here. This is a 3 story building with cut brick work. And have an umbrella like structure covered with a large dome. There is a big rectangular hall at the left side. There is a room that is located on the pebbles area
where Guru Nanak is arrested here.
Background
It is a historical building. It was built during the region of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh. In 1521, the Mughal Emperor Babar destroyed Eminabad with pebbles so rohri meaning pebbles.
