Details

This palace covers an area of 75 acres. This is not for public. It is famous for its architecture. It is used for Government events and Court ceremonies. This place was constructed by Bahawal Khan V. It is designed in a way that combines Arabic, European and local influences. On each side of the building is a large entrance gates and balconies. The third floor of building is Mughal style. At each corner of which is an elevated octagonal turret, with sikh styled domes.

Background

This building is designed to hold the government events and court ceremonies in the royal state of Bahawalpur. Initially its name was Mubarak Mahal. It was built in 1905.
